Please note that asphalting works will commence this week. This will happen in stages. The first stage will be the “roadway” part of the carpark to the boom gate (see area outlined in red).
On Wednesday 12 Feb the contractors will proof roll (check that the base is ready to asphalt) the section of car park adjacent to the cable park as far as the boom gate. They will then asphalt on Thursday 13 Feb.
From Wednesday afternoon through to Friday afternoon there won’t be any vehicle access past the public toilets in the main rowing shed. This includes no vehicles getting to the ground floor roller doors.
They will leave a small part of the roadway so access to the carpark will be maintained for now.
