Dear CRC Members,

This notification confirms that Blue Green Algae (BGA) has been detected within the waters of the National Water Sports Centre.

The National Water Sports Centre is therefore now CLOSED indefinitely to all contact with the water whilst BGA is present on the waterway.

This includes use of the waterway for all powered and non-powered vessels, including model yachts, fishing and any other activity whereby contact with the water could occur.

Parks Victoria will provide notification to all users once BGA is no longer detected to re-open the waterway.
